Chris Burget is a college graduate, who played defensive tackle and special teams at the University of Arizona on a full athletic scholarship from 1983-1988. He lettered in 83 & 85 before taking a medical release due to a severe knee injury sustained against the Oregon Ducks.
Chris went to Servite High School in Anaheim, California and was a starting defensive tackle and goal line-tight end for the Friars on the California State Champs 1982 Football Team. His Senior year, the Friars ended up ranked by USA Today #4 Team in the Country and California State Champs. Servite defeated Long Beach Poly 31-7 to win the title. He was All CIF, All Orange County and Angelus League- Defensive Player of the Year.
As a former Division 1 Athlete, Chris Burget has a passion for helping Student Athletes realize their dreams. Besides being a Head Scout, Chris is a social media titan who owns and operates Modern Outfitter, a successful new media outlet in the outdoor space, along with other avid outdoor sportsman. He has worked for several years as the Social Media Director for Smith Elite Optics where he lives in Sun Valley, Idaho. In his early years out of college, Chris was a trainer to the stars at Cal-A-Vie Spa in Southern California then went to work in the family business Shea Homes for seven years. The combination of collegiate sports experience, technology, and social media channels allows Chris to combine his skills and passions with helping other Student Athletes make the important decision on which college is best for the individual athlete.
